How come the cashier who worked there on July 15th evening did not grab a paper napkin first before touching a waffle cone? She touched both of our ice cream cones with her bare hands..that's a huge no-no,especially these days. Maybe her hands were extremely clean,but how do we know that? Good ice cream,though.

Wonderful, quaint, beach town ice cream/candy shop! Large variety of delicious ice creams (including Tillamook), and favorites like Bubble Gum and Cotton Candy. Along with a variety of local taffy, flavored popcorns (caramel & cheese), toasted nuts (cashews, almonds, pecans), fudge, truffles, and chocolates! Generous ice cream helpings, reasonable prices, and an assortment of coastal gear, like kites or the beach sandles, toys, or blanket you may have forgotten. Fantastic -(kind, helpful, patient) service to customers! And its right a crossed the street from a playground and beach access, a must stop for the kids! ,

It is amazing what a transformation has taken place at this longtime ice cream and candy shop! Not only have the new owners totally cleaned it up and upgraded the quality of the treats they sell, but it's clear that customer service is also top priority. That's a welcome change and I hope the shop thrives. Love that place!!!

I walked in hungry and cold with a family in tow. We were greeted with a hug, handed an ice cream and given new “funny” socks within five minutes. My soul was in love with the creamy Oreos in the ice cream and my toes forgot about the ocean. I was a man again, a human, a father and a husband. I will be back when my dignity is low and I need a friendly face on the coast. I will remember this time forever

The homemade fudge is a real standout at the store. A lot of ice cream choices. You can get chocolates, salt water taffy, caramel corn, beach toys, kites, sweatshirts, t-shirts, and gift items here.

I am so glad that I went to Sea Breeze on my last trip to Rockaway Beach. The Rocky Road fudge was incredible. I tried a bunch of specialty chocolates and ate ice cream. Everything was so good and everyone there was so friendly. I will always stop there when I am in town.

The owner does not require his son to wear a mask while working in the ice cream shop and will not provide masks for his customers to wear. When we asked him about his son/employee not wearing a mask we were told that his son is working in a separate area (20’ away) and the mask requirement doesn’t apply to him. Ether they are ignorant to air circulation or they have double standards, I’m leaning towards the latter. His son who looked to be a teenager took offense with our question and tried to start a fight with my family.

Two out of the three times I've been here they were very accommodating of my tree nut allergy and scooped ice cream from the back freezer for me.

What a great little store. Many different gifts and novelties. The Tillamook is so good and they really give your money's worth. This is a stop for us next time we are there. Please support these terrific people.

The owners were extremely rude. They insulted me and everyone I had come in with and just laughed it off. They "guessed" our ages and commented on our bodies. Asking us how much we weighed and persisted when we made it obvious that we didn't want to answer. Also harassed me about my allergy making it so I couldn't eat their product. They then yelled at me for touching one piece of candy as the owner is walking right next to people and yelling at them with his mask off. Worst service I have ever experienced in my life. Definite zero stars worthy.

Not Gonna lie, the ice cream was good, but the guy and girl working there were extremely rude. Me and 4 others walk in, and we all get our ice cream, then the guy working there insults all of us, especially me. He even went far enough to ask how much i weighed. I felt very weirded out when i was asked that. He was very rude overall. If i had the option to give 0 stars based on politeness, I definitely would

Very friendly owner, with a great sense of humor. Great variety and great prices. Will definately come back next time we are here. We are glad he sticks to the rules of everybody must be wearing a mask properly, at all times. And we likes the fact that his last name is my niece's name. Great visit.

Two old crotchety men behind the counter who where rude the second we walked in. Wife wanted some salt water taffy, that was in bulk so hands weren’t reaching in bins durning these crazy times. We both walked in with a mask, and mine slid down. Super rudely he demanded I keep my mask on. I get it, I’ve lived it the last 7 months, wont return here. I decided to leave and let my wife shop. He accosted her until she left too, with our daughter on her birthday... but the ice cream shop next door is super nice and helpful though!

NOT friendly at all!!!! Went in for some ice cream. We all had masks on....even my 8 and 5 year old. No friendly hellos and welcome. Just stares. my daughter who is five, Pulled her mask down to lick her ice cream and the guy stopped scooping and said “we will NOT SERVE anyone without a mask.” Very rudely...about my 5 year old. . It’s hard for children to keep masks on, especially under 12...which is the mandated age. Didn’t appreciate it, and my daughter thought she did something wrong.

Best place to get ice cream in town. Big Al is a character and based on several of the reviews people don’t understand his humor. Great selection of ice cream, fudge, salt water taffy and beach accessories. Reasonable prices in everything as well. This place is a must stop and see in Rockaway Beach.
