This place was pretty awesome! I just wish we knew about the fishing part before we ordered food. I would’ve rather... crabbed with my family then ate what we caught for the experience :) But it has actual fresh And I know what that means now and can say great crab! We were told that there is just something different when you don’t have it fresh and now I know what that man was talking about! Only have it cooked fresh 5hrs or less after you’ve caught it or it’s not worth eating in the slightest!!! It was amazing crab and great locals we got to talk to! Went there for deliciously fresh clams, oysters and crabs and the view was so beautiful. Ariel was so wonderful, she... explained how to order and let us pick our own crabs. After eating we sat by the fire and enjoyed the views before heading to the next destination. Awesome place.Rented a boat, crab pods, bait, all the good stuff went out for just over 2 hours. Had a blast and... caught a ton of crab. Only a few that were legal to keep.Josh helped us get everything set up and even cooked our crab for us. He is a stud. Definitely going to have this become a must do every trip to the coast!read more

We stayed here in November, 2020 with our 15’ T@b 320 trailer. It was our first time camping with a trailer. Jetty... Fishery was a perfect first trailer experience. It has electricity, water, and a bathroom with showers. It doesn’t have a dump site, but we weren’t yet using our trailer toilet, so it didn’t matter to us. The bathrooms were clean and basic.Showers require 6 quarters for a nine minute shower. This was plenty of time for us.Jetty Fishery is a beautiful location on Nehalem Bay that offers crabbing and boat rentals as well as camping.The weather in November was cool and clear. This Memorial Day weekend, it was windy and rainy, two on the three days. The experience was not as pleasant this time because of the weather.The weather will be a major determining factor in booking next stay here.We would stay here again because it is such a beautiful location with friendly staff and easy access from Portland and Salem.read more

Amazing spot to pick up fresh clams and crab! This was our first time doing this sort of thing and the staff were all... super friendly and honest with their recommendations. We got 4 crabs and 2 lb of the Manila steamer clams. They prepped and cooked them for us to take home for dinner. Plenty of food for 5 adults. We absolutely devoured all of it! While we waited the 20 mins for them to cook we enjoyed the wild life in the area. Otters were playing on the dock and swimming around, seals were laying on the beach across the water and seagulls. Yesss! Perfect afternoon on the dock w our two kiddos. Pulled up at least 50 crabs in 2.5 hours, only two of which were... big enough. No one else on the dock, beers and beauty. This place is a hidden gem!! They have fresh, live seafood that they cook as soon as you pay for it. The seating is... outside along the water and they cook it right in front of you. My husband and I ordered oysters, crab and beers and had the perfect experience. The prices are very affordable and it was the best seafood along the coast. We can’t wait to come back and get more! This place is beyond superb!! Was on a few week road trip up the coast and ran into this little HEAVEN a few weeks ago.... I can’t remember the last time I had such great customer service. Just all around Genuinely kind , groovy folks, and loving their jobs. Food was great, we got a bit of everything. Ate next to the water and fire pit, where they allowed my dog to join. Great place to learn / try to catch crab, you can rent crab pots and set right off the dock or rent little boats... to go set your pots.You can also just stop in and purchase live crab, oysters and clams to go or have them cook (boil) and eat fresh.Not a restaurant or a fancy place but fun place, they have a small store and camping available.read more

We stayed at the RV sites and launched our boat from there dock. It was a bit pricy $60 a night to stay but there's... power and water at each site. The location was spectacular and the people working there were super nice and helpful. A woman working there (didn't get her name) was extremely helpful with tips on crabbing and where to get the best crab. All in all I really liked the place. If you wanna shower bring quarters.read more

The reviews are correct! I am from the midwest, but while on vacation we found this place online driving up the Oregon... coast. We wanted the 'real' fresh crab experience, and this was it! We only stopped for lunch but the staff was super friendly and helpful to the uninitiated. Nothing fancy, just fresh crab and corn (and clams/oysters) at some outside tables near the bay. We enjoyed the whole experience.read more

The employees at Jetty Fishery made our stay SO nice… They happily taught us how to use the Jetty boat to cruise and... catch crabs, they cooked our catch, cooked the clams and oysters we bought and answered our every question. We found this park late in the evening and were so thankful that we did!Its pretty small but the location was great.... It seemed like a great place to be able to spend a day or two. They had boat rentals and I believe you could buy or rent crab nets from the store they have.The only thing I would recommend is that they add a water hose or something close to the tent sites. One of the staff had told me I could use the sink to rinse my dishes out. and right before leaving I went to do so and was told I could not. Which is fine I guess its a food prep area or something but it would def make since to have an area people could rinse out dishes and such. Either way, we enjoyed our short stay.read more

Nothing beats the flavor of fresh live seafood cooked right on the spot. Came here after almost a decade. Great scenic... view and friendly service. The crab was good but on the expensive end for how much you get, and everything else is charged (for butter, lemon, etc). Not a place to eat to your heart’s content unless you’re willing to spend quite a bit. The clams were good as well. Next time, will try crabbing here for my own crabs for a better value and experience. Just don’t come hungry!read more

Love this place! It's been family owned since the 70's and everyone I've ever interacted with over the last few years... of visits have been super courteous and friendly. Live crab boiled in huge crab pots right on the spot with oysters, clams, and corn on the cob available too. There's a little market you can buy beers, drinks, snacks and other things too. When it's not covid times, there are tons of picnic tables outside on the property along the bay. Sitting there eating freshly boiled crab and oysters and enjoying a beer and the view of the bay... My family and I went to check out how the crabbing is in this area because we've heard good things. We enjoyed renting... some boats and checking out the scenery. Didn't catch any crab due to the murky waters from the heavy rain fall. Call ahead to get the status they'll be happy to let you know. BEST FISHERY EVER! Super nice staff. Anyone could take lessons from these young (20-30) people whom I now adore and... will happily return too. Customer service skills were phenom. They accommodated 3 young boys and 2 adults with food, questions answered, and a excellent time had by all. The fire pit was a perfect add to the ambiance and the Viking chairs were a perfect add for watching bald eagles fising less than 20 feet away.I also witnessed how the staff dealt with a older couple who were upset because of the length of time it took to cook food. The staff took their customer skills and met them halfway to help keep them happy without losing a customer or money for the fishery. This is a great place to stop in and crab. It’s a small family owned operation, all the staff is super friendly.... There’s also a small store where you can pick up any knickknacks you may need. This place is great! What an experience for someone who has never been on the coast, crabbed etc. RV park amenities... basic. Water, electric. Setting, absolutely wonderful!!!!!!!! Due to Covid only renting every other site . Perfect. Not sure how they would get 14 RVs in the area they have. I would rent two spaces and enjoy if I were to do it again.....Drove up to their sister location, Kelly's marina. Same concept. RV park there packed, uncomfortably. Staff was honestly just rude. Don’t know names of the staff unfortunately. I was very disappointed with how my family... was treated especially after seeing all the great reviews. The food and scenery were great, other than that I will NEVER be returning to jetty fishery. I can’t believe this staff is still on the job, I was most disappointed in how my 13 year old son was treated. He was so excited to go to the beach and by the end of the day he would be in tears from what was said to him, by this so called “welcoming staff” pull your sh*t together!!read more

We had a wonderful experience!! The RV area was quiet and nice with an amazing view on the water. We could see seals... laying on the beach across the water. We rented some crabbing nets, they include everything you will need with the nets. We caught 5 good crabs on their private dock and then they clean and cook them for you and give them back to you on ice. We loved it here and definitely want to return!!read more

We've visited a half dozen times or so. We love the west-facing view in #2 and #3. Watched pelicans feeding, and a bald... eagle on the shore across the channel. For the most part, fellow campers are quiet and respectful. My only unhappiness with the last visit was a dog that barked a lot. Pretty sure it belonged to someone at the RV park. Nevertheless, we'll be back.read more

This was one of, if not the worse experiences I have ever had with any sort of business. My front tires barely got onto... the property and I was “greeted” by the owner. She said right away that it is private property and we couldn’t be there unless we were going buy something. Someone else had pulled in shortly after us as I was turning the car around and right away she started treating them in a very similar way. She asked if they were there to buy some crab or fish or drink some beer and stuff like that but as soon as they said they were there to check it out she said it was private property and told them they need to buy something to be able to use the property or just to even be there. This was a TERRIBLE experience and it is a shame that she is affiliated with such a wonderful little town. There are many other places to spend your money and I highly recommend doing that and stay away from her.read more

So beyond disappointed in this “business”. Pulled into the parking lot with my family to a lady that came straight to... the window bluntly saying THIS IS PRIVATE PROPERTY. My father in-law nicely said, I called yesterday and we were wanting to... and she cut him off saying “If you want to come down you have to purchase seafood or buy something”. She was so beyond rude. We never even exited our vehicles and never plan to come back. We were wanting to rent two boats, some crab pots, and also rent some clamming stuff. I’m so glad we were greeted this way so that we didn’t give them any of our money. On another note, since I have to give at least 1 star, the guy we talked to on the phone gets the star. TJ was nice and is clearly the only nice thing about this place. The owner needs a serious reality check.read more

Absolutely love this place. There's a multitude of things to do and if you just wanted to sit and enjoy the views or... the surf, you can do that too. There's a campground, a store with everything you need to catch your own crabs or fish or just something to snack on.
