My friends and I had an opportunity to visit the Oregon Coast recently and used Starfish Luxury Rentals. We stayed at Vivenda Boa Vida and were extremely satisfied with the ease of the rental procedures plus delighted with the rental property awaiting our arrival. Although we arrived after dark, the house was wonderful and well appointed. Very close to the beautiful and interesting beach. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished with top quality linens and well stocked kitchen with nice dishes, glassware, silverware, and pots and pans. The only thing missing was espresso cups for espresso lovers when using the Nespresso coffee maker-(not a big deal!) The beds and pillows were very comfortable in every room and again, plenty of top quality linen and towels. The house is furnished with beautiful yet comfortable furnishings in the latest colors.
Staying in Manzanita was an excellent choice, a
great grocery store on the highway, great shopping boutiques and even a wine bar and a whiskey bar. A short and beautiful drive north brought us to Canon Beach and the famous Haystack Rock.
We did a lot of fun activities; including walking on the beach, sunsets, EVOO Cooking School in Canon Beach, riding the Oregon Coast Train, and a Haystack Tour. It was a fabulous time and Starfish Luxury Rental made it happen for us.

After watching one of their employees at a local Laundromat with his mask dangling from one ear the whole time, I can not and will not recommend their services or properties to any of our clients. If their staff feels comfortable risking the safety of others inside a public space, god knows they wont be safe behind closed doors.

I worked for this Company cleaning their rental homes. The homes were absolutely gorgeous the people I worked for were kind and did everything possible to make sure that their guest's would be comfortable and enjoy their stay as well as have everything they need. I would highly recommend this company for both employment purposes as well as if you're looking for a place to stay during your visit to the Oregon coast 🙂

After a negative experience with Airbnb, I want nothing but starfish vacation rentals for home rentals. Always pretty, clean, organized, fresh - feeling... We've stayed at several starfish rentals. Why can't they be everywhere!!?

This place we rented was truly amazing! Had enough room for my entire group. The location was wonderful right in the heart of Manzanita across from the beach. The staff at Starfish Properties were extremely accommodating and responsive as well. I would absolutely recommend!

I love working with Starfish. All their homes are in great condition, very clean and have everything we need in them. Their team is responsive before and during our stays. I like how they always follow up asking if there is anyway they can improve. We stumbled on them years ago and our so glad we did. They are the best and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great place to stay on the north Oregon coast.

Starfish is exceptional in the quality and consistency of their offerings. My partner and I have stayed at a property of theirs in Arch Cape several times over three years. The house is itself is the perfect getaway. Starfish goes above and beyond to accommodate our requests, like eco-friendly soaps. They are always responsive and gracious. I recommend them very highly.

We have been going to Cannon Beach as a family for over twenty years, my wife since she was a child. The five family members who stayed the Blue Starfish this summer are all in agreement that this is the most pleasant place we have stayed in. We are spoiled for anything else in Cannon Beach. Kudos to the rental agency, too. Very pleasant and organized associates. The unit has a spectacular location, was very clean and quiet, and had all the amenities we wanted. We will be renting again.

I would recommend NOT working with this property management group in the Cannon Beach and Manzanita areas of Oregon. Our family of 5 drove from Minnesota and paid over $550 a night for a rental they managed. There were many misrepresentations and problems followed by promises that were not followed through on. Management responded but did not or could not fix the many issues. Owners living above us with a dog and yelling down at us form above. Inflexible policies and lies. There are other companies and rentals in this beautiful area. Start there.
UPDATE: The property manager calls a dead rodent smell from under the house master bathroom that filled half the house with foul odor "a plumbing issue" in her reply. She also knows we had zero instructions in the home our entire stay, and yet she cites that as our issue. The neighbor uses the house wi-fi as well as three adults living above the house. They hide the fact that the Puffin House has owners who live above the unit in a photo caption and at the very end of the long rental description. This is still unchanged despite our feedback. It would prevent renters if people knew the truth and that the owners also have a dog and can be heard moving around upstairs. More proof of this group being unethical. Danna (Starfish owner) agreed to a $1,000 refund the day we left because of all the issues and rank smell in the bathroom our entire stay. She apologized to us and we felt that was reasonable. Weeks later, when I contacted her to see when that would be coming, she said it had changed to a one night refund. Then when I said that was wrong to do, she took away the one-night refund .They make money for themselves and their owners - - guests are their last concern. Beware.

Professional management with a genuine hometown personal touch. It is so nice to be able to really enjoy a stay away from home someplace lovely, someplace relaxing, someplace where you don't have to think about a thing as the management company has done that all for you. From the ease of the reservation process to walking through the door to find a sparkling clean rental stocked with everything you might need to be comfortable in your time away. Well sign me up! We will definitely rent with Starfish Vacation rentals again. Their suggestions for restaurants and activities were all spot on. Thank you for a carefree, lovely and truly relaxing experience.

I would say "Carmel By The Sea" is the premier luxury apartment in the village of Manzanita! It’s location was perfect for us to walk everywhere including the beach as well as shops and restaurants. Each room was well decorated and inviting. We heard from Geoff the entire property will get a fresh coat of paint this winter and a new elevator! Next visit, we not only will bring the kids but the grandparents too.

My girlfriends and I rented Carmel by the Sea for a weekend of relaxation and zen mixed with fun and laughs. We had picked this place because it was situated in the middle of the main strip about a cute little store. Walking distance to all the little shops and restaurants on the strip. We have planned on two days of yoga up just up the street. Followed by a nice beach walk just down the street the other way. It was just perfect! The house itself was super cute and very spacious! You wouldn’t think from seeing it from the street but it is a good size. 3 good size bedrooms with very comfortable beds. A nice sized living room with plenty of seating. A full sized dining table and nice kitchen with all modern amenities. My girlfriend is a professional cleaner and can be hard on the places we stay and she said this place was spotless! ...The place is great and we will definitely be back for another girls trip. In addition to the house. The staff was awesome. I was having problems with my door code and they stayed late and made sure they got it working very quickly so that we didn’t have to wait and even called me back later and made sure all was good. This is the second time I’ve rented from Starfish and both time and properties were great. Highly recommend.

What a amazing spot! Perfect for a cozy getaway with or without the whole family. It’s location was perfect for us to walk everywhere. The sand is just a few steps away. We enjoyed having a cup of coffee in the morning on the deck over looking town and the ocean. The master bedroom was incredibly comfy!
The house has such a cozy feel and decor. Each room is super cute and the layout is great!

My husband and I needed some down time and we are so thankful to have found Starfish Vacation Rentals. Starfish Cove was a perfect property for my recent getaway and stay at the coast. The location, layout and open living spaces provided a restful reprieve from the daily grind! The house is stocked full of everything you could ever need from beach chairs and games to a fully stocked kitchen. I especially enjoyed making coffee with fresh ground coffee beans.
The luxurious towels, and thoughtful amenities available throughout the stay were so special. I will definitely return.

I made a reservation for 6 friends and I at "Villa Manzanita" for the end of summer. It was an amazing stay. A block away from the beach. A nice kitchen (with two ovens which worked well since we made an unreasonable amount of scones for breakfast). A big stove range (which again a good choice since we also made omelets and could cook multiple at once). The upstairs TV and lounge area was perfect for our movie night (had more than enough blankets and pillows to go around). We actually did end up using the round game table upstairs, playing yatzee. We went out to eat both nights, making dinner felt like too much work after being outside all day. One nigh we went to the bar/pub down the street and the next we got pizza to go on the other side of the street. Both places were very good, especially the pizza, and were within 3 minutes of walking distance. We ended our last night in the hot tub. I would also like to mention one of my favorite features was the huge steam shower, and actually just the whole master bedroom and bathroom overall was absolutely phenomenal! I recommend this house to anyone looking to be in the center of town and large groups!

Our week long stay at Blue Horizon in (and above) Rockaway Beach was a treat for our family. The house was a great fit for the five of us and our two small dogs. Property will stay on a "repeat" visit list.

My friends an I just recently stayed here for a long weekend to get away from the craziness that is life. Manzanita was the perfect quaint little town right on the Oregon coast. The accommodations were nothing shy of incredible. The house was very updated and clean, it made me feel at home. One major plus side of staying here was how close the house was to the beach. I loved that I could wake up in the morning grab my cup of coffee and walk 30 seconds to the beach. Also, the staff made the whole process extremely easy from booking to checkout. I could not recommend a better location/home a for getaway!

We stayed at Anchors Retreat in Canon beach last month, and at the Purcell House and Villa Manzanita earlier this year. Every time we had a wonderful stay. Very nice and spacious properties, comfortable and clean. The staff at Starfish Vacation Rentals is always friendly and responsive. We often recommend them to our fiends for their next vacation on the Oregon coast!
