Amazing food everytime I come here. I recommend chicken tikka masala or chicken biriyani, and never forget their amazing garlic naan bread.

The lunch special was very watery. The person who handled my order was timely and very kind, but the food was pretty bad unfortunately. (I got the punjabi aloo & chicken vindaloo)

The best indian food around and run by such a nice couple. Even if they are closed, my boyfriend and I will wait until the next day to get food from this food cart. Couldn’t recommend more!

Had the chicken tikka masala on one occasion and it’s literally the best Tikka Masala I have tasted thus far (I have eaten it at three other different Indian places), love how they serve it over rice and not separately.
On another occasion I had the Saag Chicken and it was also so so good 🤤🤤🤩🤩🤩, 💯 recommend. Additionally, I had the Kulcha Naan with it and it’s definitely my favourite type of Naan. Can’t go wrong with potatoes 😍.

Their curry is hands down the best! Stopped by multiple times to get it. I want the recipe because the curry I make at home doesn’t even compare. They are truly nice people, once they forgot to give us one of drinks we ordered and they gave an extra one for free. I would highly recommend

Food was so bad, it tasted like eating raw salt, all you reviewers got me misled with 5star fake reviews, it's a scam, the food is absolutely disgusting. I had a hard time finding a place to go-to the loo cus I still have diahhrea from how bad it all was. Do not eat here and do not take suggestions, make your own decisions. Ruined my day in Portland, absolutely regret it.

If you are a fan of butter chicken, this is some of the best in Portland ! Probably some of the best Indian food in Portland period ! Ask for mild if you are like me and don’t like spicy ! Super good rich flavor, they use real cream in the recipe. Everything is hand made and cooked fresh. Daily lunch specials. Good portions and good pricing ! Super nice husband and wife couple that run it !

Called to place an order. They were incredibly rude about me asking for less spicy food. Terrible customer service.

They have a great lunch special - but I’m a big fan of their mutter paneer, my favorite takeout!

Oh my goodness! This was the best paneer I've ever tasted. I have had a lot of Indian food around the Portland area and Old taste of India was top notch!

Blends of rare imported spices are pleasing to the pallet. A nice variety of flavors in every bite. Great place to eat.

This cart and its owners encapsulate everything good about the Portland food cart scene: The dishes are invariably satisfying (my go-to are the perfectly-spiced wraps) and the couple whipping up those offerings are a delight. And -- increasingly rare around town these days -- you feel like you're receiving good value. There's a reason they've been in the same spot for years! Pro tip: Call in your order for quick and easy pick up.

Favorite place for Indian food & the best lamb in town, period. Love the wraps & samosas with extra mint chutney. Always a good time chatting with them too!

Glad to see you guys are still open! This place has great food. I usually get the lamb wrap because it's so good, but I've also had some awesome recommendations when I've wanted to try something new. It's my go-to food cart on those long days of studying. Thanks guys!

I have been going to this food cart consistently for the past decade since high school. It is without a doubt my favorite Indian food cart in town. They have rotating chicken and veggie lunch specials on weekdays which includes two entrees over rice, and a massive piece of naan included. Don’t forget to add mango, mint or tamarind chutney on the side. 100% recommend

This is my favorite place to eat on the entire coast! The folks are so kind and they make incredible indian food. Incredible food!! Love that I can walk to it from my hotel in Rockaway and walk back to be cozy in my room or sunset beach picnic dinner.

Indian is my favorite. I eat it all the time. I just had a very inexpensive, amazing lunch from here today and I had to post about how great it is.The best I've had in years I think! Good price, plenty of food. I highly recommend!

I really appreciate that most of their dishes are completely unspicy by default! I can't always handle a lot of spice so it's nice to have options. I usually get the chicken korma, it's out of this world good! Lately I've really been enjoying the aloo kolcha too 😍 Good portions for the price, and they don't skimp on the protein!

I’m sorry, I hate to speak poorly about restaurants but I hope the owners see this because unfortunately my meal was lacking in flavor and depth that most other great Indian restaurants have. I ordered my chicken curry “extra spicy, as spicy as you can make it” and they must’ve forgot because I couldn’t taste a thing. the rice was watery, naan didn’t have any crunch. I’d like to come back, maybe it’ll be better next time!

What a treat! Small, cozy eatery, great service! Eggs cooked to perfection, thick, tender, crispy bacon bursting with flavor. Decent breakfast burrito. Wonderful maple bars! Thank you for the experience. Will definitely come back during vacation in the area.

I stop here every time I am in Portland. The lamb wrap is literally amazing. I usually buy two extra and bring them home!

Have been going to this place since 2012.
One of the very few food carts that has been around this long.
The food is great!
My personal favorite os their lunch combo. And really good food options if you are looking for vegetarian/vegan food.

Chicken wrap is amazing! I get this whenever I'm close by. Vegan wrap is good if you're vegan or just looking for non animal foods. Love this place!

If you're looking for good fast food style Indian food this is the place.
Nice oily creamy rich tikka masala. Evenly chunked and flavored chicken bites in the curry, and lots of it too.
One of my favourite places to get food downtown.
Very fair prices.
